In our busy, over-stimulated lives, it’s not often enough that we give ourselves time to recharge our bodies in a restful, reflective way.

The practice of Yin Yoga slows us down and though quietly passive, is deeply challenging on many levels.  Designed to elongate the connective tissues (ligaments and fascia), postures are held for a long period of time with the depth of the pose being guided by attention, breath and patience.

The Restorative Yoga process is all about ‘un-doing’ which, for many of us, is easier said than done. This vital practice calms the nervous system and encourages the exploration of total relaxation. Often supported by blankets, bolsters and blocks, Restorative Yoga allows the body to be completely supported, involving little to no muscular effort, creating space for a completely receptive state of being.
