3 Qualities to Balance Your Life, October 29, 2017, 9 am–12 pm

Yoga psychology presents a powerful model called the three qualities (gunas) that determine our actions and life experience. If we find a healthy balance between them, we are in a state of wellbeing. In this workshop, you will receive:

 Key insights into these three qualities or energies.

 How to combine body awareness and intention in practical ways to support this balance.

 Ability to cultivate an openness to life to improve mood and energy.

Dr. Ganesh Mohan is the son of A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan, practicing yoga from childhood, and one of the few direct links to Krishnamacharya’s teaching now. The Mohan family are respected internationally for their authentic yoga teachings and have been training yoga teachers with a focus on therapeutic and individualized work for decades. Dr. Mohan, trained in both modern medicine and Ayurveda, focuses on a holistic approach to well-being in chronic and lifestyle diseases.

Vicki Jackson began her yoga journey in the 1970s as a way to heal after a severe car accident. This led her on a lifelong path of ongoing yoga practice, study, and teaching. She is a preceptor to the Integrative Medical Elective Rotation at the University of Arizona, has consulted with the U.S. Army Integrative Pain Center, and teaches at Sierra Tucson.
