Lisa began her Yoga journey in 1988 with Dharma Mittra in New York City. She was going to school and working in modeling, acting and fashion, fields in which the focus is on how you look rather than how you feel. In her first class, her body came to life and she woke up to a new way of being. She has practiced Yoga ever since. Lisa is trained in Dharma Yoga, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin and certified in Bikram Yoga. Her current favorite way to practice and teach is a combination of Yin and Yang, bringing balance to mind, body and spirit.
